About Ron Robbins – Active Planet Travels

Outdoor adventure, travel, sand dunes, sand boarding, sandboarding, Great Sand Dunes, National Park, Colorado, Hiking, Kai, Desert, Dog, Miniature Schnauzer, cheap travel tips, overseas adventure tours, best solo tripsHi, my name is Ron Robbins, founder of the Active Planet Travels adventure travel site!

I first started this blog as a personal, online journal to document my travels backpacking around the world; that was back in 2011.

Since then, it has morphed into its own beast where I now work virtually as a professional traveler, writing about inspirational stories, cities, off-the-beaten-path destinations, and outdoor adventures as I continue to follow my professional interests of travel blogging, eating bizarre foods, and eventually hosting my very own travel show.

Discovering both the hidden gems within mainstream cities as well as venturing far off-the-beaten-path, I thoroughly enjoy seeing what the world has to offer.

I’ve condensed all of that knowledge on this blog to help you not only get inspired, but to get informed of the best places to travel to.  I tell you through a first-person storytelling narrative exactly what you can expect by visiting a country, city, village, or establishment.

Traveling no longer has to keep the reputation of being for the rich and famous as I am happy to guide you through my predominantly budget friendly escapades around the world so you can get the most out of your trip to places like Thailand, Puerto Rico, Panama, Nepal, or even Tibet!

I deeply thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and wish you the happiest of experiences while traveling so that you can broaden your mind, and broaden your soul, to the amazing world that we live in.  I wish you the happiest and most memorable outdoor adventure travel experiences you can have!

Sincerely,

Ron Robbins (aka Active Planet Travels)
