I’ll be the first to say, I tend to think about things a little too much.  Honestly.  It can be as simple as trying to figure out what to make for dinner or as complex as trying to figure out what’s happening in the human mind.  I do…I think too much.

But isn’t it about time someone had?

Day after day, it’s ever present in my life that people don’t think about other people as much as they should (at least in my opinion).  They’re so focused on what’s going on in their lives that they honestly don’t give a rats ass about anything else in the world.

Take Valentines Day for example.  Everyone celebrates this day for the celebration of being with their significant other.  Or, on the other hand, if you’re single you tend to think about how you can spend time alone or with your friends to get your mind off of the fact that you are indeed single.

But, just for shits and giggles, what if society were to put a twist on things?  What if everyone celebrated this beautiful day with a different, more open love…a One love?

Peace & Love

Spread the Peace, Spread the Love.

Wouldn’t it send a better message to the world if we celebrated the love of our friends, family members, coworkers and strangers alike for the better of mankind instead of our own personal and selfish needs?  Try it.  And while you’re at it, try doing it more than just one day a year…why not do this every day?

The message I’m trying to give out is the same many before me have tried.  The world should operate on Love, nothing else.  And sure, times may be hard and it can be very difficult to do this all the time but a simple smile can go a long ways.

One Love my friends, that’s the way it ought to be.

All in all, I would like to dedicate this St. Valentines Day to my family, friends, strangers and anyone else I may have left out.  Here’s a toast along with a box of chocolates to those who are with me in this desperate message that needs to be spread.

You shouldn’t spread your love just one day a year.  Nor should you spread your love to just one person.  It should be spread every day of every year.  It should be spared for everyone, not someone.

Happy St. Valentines Day!
