When I traveled to Mt. Everest as a part of my 9 Day Budget Tour through Tibet, the landscape placed an unimaginable impression on me.
I had no idea at exactly how diverse it was compared to other parts of China such as Xining or Kunming.
The mountains rose to a staggering 17,000 feet above sea level and that was just at base camp which sat in the shadows compared to the peaks surrounding it. As you could imagine, the photography opportunities here were more than I could bear!
Between the lovely people, Buddhist culture, and surrounding landscape, I had many opportunities to take photos and learn what life was like as a local in this region of the world. So, without further ado, take a look at the Top 10 most Amazing Photos I took of the small villages, towns, landscape, people and mountains on the way up to Mount Everest Base Camp. 🙂

Such beautiful photos! I was lucky enough to get a tiny glimpse of Everest as we landed in Bhutan. I definitely think I’ll be back for more.
